Journalist. Artist. Storyteller.

My audio work combines sound-rich scenes with narratives that highlight the experiences of underprivileged people. I believe the purpose of journalism is to illuminate the struggles of people with the least amount of power in society while holding the powerful accountable. As an independent producer, I founded the podcast We Must Ignite, a show about people from marginalized groups trying to make it in the arts while supporting each other along the way.

Currently, I produce radio segments and podcasts for KJZZ 91.5, the public radio news station in Phoenix, AZ. I also record freelance tape syncs, provide consultation for new podcasts, and teach audio and storytelling workshops.
